Carol Boss, born and raised in a small town in south/central Missouri, has been a St. Louis resident since 1995. Most of her time is spent with her family, freelancing as a graphic artist, helping Big George Brock and volunteering with the local food pantry Carol has always had a profound passion for painting. Influenced by Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Goghs vibrant use of color and harsh brush technique, her paintings are enhanced by bright accents of color and tell a story. Most of her works focus on the City of Saint Louis, musicians, blues and the Delta. When asked about her art she says, I've always wanted to be a painter.
